Tango in Karlsbad (Karlovy Vary)
Since the 19th Century Karlsbad established itself into the most favourite location for Wellness and Swimming. After the 19th Century numerous Hotels and Baths were built in many different styles by the time of the ages - practically every building has been renewed with devotion to the Detail, since 1989 (take a closer look at: "Architekturseite"

In a historical building, raised in the years of rapid industrial expansion in Germany - in Bath V - (Photo), we have our dance hall in which we will give you excellent Training.
Bath V (orginally named "Elisabethbad", by the Name of the Austrian empress Elisabeth) was opened in 1906 and resides in the Smetana-Park, nearby the Administration-Centrum of Karlsbad. The building itself's been built in neo-baroque Style.

| We booked an Evening in a Dance-Pavillon in the Posthof (Postovní Dvur - Foto on the right) and are going to dine and dance there!
The "Posthof" is far older than most of the other buildings, raised by the end of the 19th century: this classicism-style-building was build by the local Post-Chief Josef Korb, originally used as a "Station" for Posthorses and -carts. By the beginning of the 19th century many famous Personalities like J.W.Goethe and "FÜrst von Metternich" stayed here for a while. In 1816 big ceremonies were hold to honor the "FÜrst BlÜcher" due to the Victorys over Napoleon - so the "Posthof" has been expanded. The Premiere of Antonin Dvorak's "New World Synphony" took place in one of the fashionable Ballrooms. |
